I say I have worlds, but mostly I have thought experiments. If I held the pen, if I let myself indulge, how would I do fantastical travel? (Living ships!) An ot3? (Comedy of errors!) Superpowers? (EAT YOUR GODS.)

I've yet to pull free of the muddle-of-concepts phase into true coherency on any of them, but at least I have fun.

Unfortunately I really struggle with building on these concepts, so I'd say it's so-so in here. But it also means I enjoy watching others' worlds come together in depth, as with your tale of evil academics c: I realised a while ago that many of my most favourite stories have very in-depth worldbuilds; I love stories that truly transport the reader.

I always get stuck in that thought experiment phase and never really like... write anything with it.

I have gotten to the "very slowly trying to write a rough outline" stage for exactly one (1) world so... yeah. The fiction that I will ever actually write a complete piece for any of these is probably my most well-developed work :|

(I don't even have an edible pantheon yet drafted out yet and despite my best efforts it keeps swerving determinedly towards trying to be a story about greed, which seems a little bland but... hm. It's an idea and it's there and it's a nice home for some old characters who don't have anywhere else to live anymore.)
