DA3 & Jaws of Hakkon spoilers:
I’ve seen a few people pose the argument that the game story clearly leans towards a human Inquisitor, and to some extent I have to agree if only because the reactions really do not capture just how much screaming-like-a-teenager-at-a-pop-concert a Dalish Inquisitor would be doing over finding an ancient temple and elves from the days of Arlathan, sucking up the collective memories of ancient elves in a straw, meeting Mythal, and now finding out the previous Inquisitor was also one of the People from the actual Dales.
(Lewen making big googly heart-eyes in the distance.)
On that note I’m a little puzzled as to why they even let us have the choice of drinking from the Well when it has…so little impact on anything…? Like there’s the rough excuse that the Inquisitor struggles to “process” the memories, but you still supposedly have thousands of years of ancient brainjuice swirling around with your own, you’d think it’d come up more often.
I’ve really enjoyed the DLC tho! As much as having to throw extra money at companies for already very expensive games is a bit [hairy eyeball], it’s at least a heck of a lot of content and it seems a good example of the kind of mischief the Inquisition gets up to during the supposed two-year interim. And the treehouses! Yes! Marvellous!
Edit: Oh, also I forgot Cass SOMEHOW ended up Divine so I’ve had to drag Iron Bull with me as my meat-shield and it’s just not the same :(
