The second wave of outbreak is definitely a concern and one I'm very worried for in the US as a whole thanks to our malignantly incompetent leadership at the national level. I have never been so grateful to live in the state I live in, where our governor has been very on top of shit and taking common-sense measures.
I am not in a metropolitan area, thankfully, so it's certainly not as bad here as it could be. It looks like cases here might have finally plateaued, but that's of course not the same as being out of the woods. It looks like they're trying to get more comprehensive testing in place here, too, which will certainly be important to determine whether to lift the lockdown. My husband will likely be working from home for a while longer regardless of what happens elsewhere, so we will be able to stay isolated if we feel we need to. I certainly do worry about a resurgence though.
