Alright, I do have to admit: as much as the show proper isn't what I hoped, the opening sequence for His Dark Materials is still the best thing ever, of all time.

I think I’m enjoying the show (as an adaptation and on its own merits) more than you are, but 100% agree that the title sequence is the best part!

I'm glad you're liking it! And gosh every time those wings fly out of the dust I'm just like, OH HO HO. The amber lighting falling over Lyra as a church choir sings! The line of worlds folding into slivers! It's perfect.

I have watched it, yes! Mixed bag imo, but I did enjoy it.
