Good golly, this thing. I am remarkably adept at gathering journals and watching them be buried under mountains and mountains of cyber dust. If only it were possible to make a career out of such a habit. (Don't ask me how that would work. I just know it would be awesome.)

However, in the human tradition of pledging stupid things, I have recently pledged to knuckle down and do some serious, regular writing. Can't improve if I keep giving in to the whims of fickle inspiration and blank Word documents, and too many people know I have an interest in this field for me to keep giving shifty looks when various relatives and old school contacts ask me how it's going.

In the meantime, I'll start transferring over some scattered pieces I've written in the last year and a half. I promise to take care not to flood anyone's reading pages, though it's not as though there are that many people subscribed...and that's the right terminology, isn't it? It's been so long I have seriously forgotten how Dreamwidth works, but it's nothing a good poking won't cure.
