Remarks: A very belated cross-posting! Honestly, I like this one better in pieces than as a whole - canon changed on me in the middle of writing it, and I don't think I quite rose to the challenge of guiding it to a different ending than the one I'd planned. There is still satisfaction to be had in completing it, and in covering some scenes long-imagined. And in learning. Always learning.
